Shun Shing Packaging Industries LTD (SSPIL)
SSPIL is a subsidiary of Shun Shing Group and produces 2-Ply & 1-Ply woven polypropylene (PP) cement sacks. SSPIL has emerged as the leading bag manufacturer in the country by meeting the demand of Seven-Rings as well as supplying cement-bags to more than 20-companies including MNC. The company holds 25% of the total market share of the cement sack market.
SSPIL’s packaging plant was established in 2002, with an installed capacity of just 24 million bags per year. By 2005 the production capacity was doubled. In 2007, the plant’s capacity was increased again to produce up to 72 million bags per year. To keep up with increased demand additional investments were made to upgrade production and increase production volume once again to 80 million bags per year. SSPIL now has 3-Nos separate production units in its Kaligonj, Gazipur Bangladesh complex with a total production capacity of 140 million pcs per year.
